Arts and crafts fair at a family-friendly event with world famous Chili from Hatch, New Mexico!
September 12, 2009
Vendor booth spaces are available for a $25 suggested donation for a 10 ft x 10 ft space (smaller vendors are also welcome!). Vendors are required to bring their own tables, chairs and table displays. A tent or canopy is highly recommended, as well as a wide-brimmed hat, water and sunscreen. Vendors are required to register in advance by contacting Melissa Andrews at mandrews@cep-az.org or 520-888-2727 x103, or by submitting a Vendor Form which can be downloaded from the CEP Chili Festival website. Join us as we celebrate our Southwest heritage with world-famous chilies from Hatch, NM! Enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly activities and delicious fresh-roasted chili. There will be something for everyone: community artisan booths, family-friendly entertainment, children’s carnival games and a 50/50 raffle. Event proceeds go to CEP’s Scholarship Fund to assist families with financial need. General Vendor Information: Attendees: We anticipate 150-300 attendees throughout the course of the day. Attendees will primarily be families with children. Vendor Space: The vendor spaces which are available for free with a $25 suggested donation are up to 10ftx10ft (smaller is OK as well). We have space for up to 40 vendors. Event Publicity included e-news announcements and flyer sot over 1,500 community members, advertising at 10 school sites, event listings and press releases submitted to local newspapers & online news; online advertisements, and high visibility street signage on the day of the event. Vendor Restrictions: We do not allow food or beverage vendors or anything that is not appropriate for children and families (e.g. strong political/religious/inflammatory/profanity). Vendors must register in advance. Otherwise there is no limit on the types of vendor booths. Vendor booth space will be available first-come, first-serve; however we will encourage vendors selling like items to spread out in different areas of the festival to avoid over-concentration of one type of item being sold.
