This festival will be featured alongside the docks in Mary Ross Waterfront Park where they will also be holding the Blessing of the Fleet in Brunswick, Ga. This event has been taking place for over 60 years and draws a large amount of participation. Mary Ross Waterfront Park and the adjacent Brunswick Landing Marina play host to a variety of festivals and events throughout the year. The park and marina, the antique and specialty shops, galleries and restaurants and the beautiful and extensive historic residential neighborhoods are all located within the Old Town Brunswick National Register Historic District.
In conjunction with the Blessing of the Fleet and the natural flow of tourists we have put together a generous advertising campaign to enhance the already large attendance. The advertising consists of Billboards in high traffic areas 1 month prior to the event, 2 Number One Radio Stations with over 200 commercials 10 days prior to and during the event, also 2 Live Remotes Saturday May 8th during the event with WYNR 102.5 COUNTRY and SUNNY 103.3. Both radio stations cover over 9 surrounding counties as far away as Waycross, Ga. There will also be flyers and posters distributed through local and surrounding areas at least 2 weeks leading up to the event.Related Web Pages:
