We are proud to announce a great new event for 2010: The Indie Market's Shindig on the Square!! A street festival of Artistic proportions! This Art, Craft and Music Festival will take place SUNDAY, MAY 2, from 12-6 PM at Hamburger Square (300 Block of S. Elm and adjacent parking lots) in Downtown Greensboro. We would love for you to apply to be a vendor! The festival is taking place in coordination with ‘ARTBEAT Greensboro: A week long Celebration of the Greensboro Arts Community' and will serve as a kick off event. The festival will feature 60+ art, craft , and vintage vendors; musical, theatrical and dance street performers; a main music stage with several bands; and beer and wine--all happening in the heart of downtown Greensboro. The event will be marketed in print and online locally as well as regionally and will be included in the ArtBeat Week marketing as well. Expected attendance is 6-10K. This is a rain or shine event. Our goal is always to keep booth fees as low as possible so you the artist can make money. Booth Fees are 10x10-- $60 (popup canopy required, 1-2ft between booths) 10x20-- $100 6x5 table only space-- $35 We are offering an early bird discount of $10 off a 10x10 booth for all applications and payments received before Feb. 14th, so register early! Booth Sharing is permitted but all vendors displaying or selling must fill out an application. We are looking for a wide variety of vendors including original artists in all mediums, crafters, vintage resellers, flower sellers, etc. We discourage the reselling of mass produced items not designed or created by you. All applications will be reviewed by a jury when they are received. We will contact you immediately regarding the status of your application. If for some reason your application is denied, all submitted funds will be returned. To apply please fill out the on line application below and click submit. Payment is due with application. Once you have submitted the application please send payment via Paypal using the "Buy Now" button below. Please include your name and business name in the message to seller when checking out.
