May 17-18, 2008
On May 17th and 18th, 2008 (Sat. 9 am-5pm and Sun. 11 am-5pm CST) A.H.O.S.T. (Artists Hands of Sequatchie Territory) will host its 3rd Log Cabin Days Arts and Crafts Show. This show will be held at the Log Cabin Village two (2) miles north of Pikeville, TN on U.S. Highway 127. The location is approximately a 60 minute drive from Chattanooga, 2 hr. drive from Nashville or Knoxville, with easy access and free parking. Camping will be available in the rough.
This is the third annual fair. A.H.O.S.T. (Artist Hands of Sequatchie Territory) is a non-profit organization promoting arts in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley area of Tennessee. The festival is held in and around lovingly restored log cabins 2 miles north of Pikeville, TN directly on the main highway artery-U.S. Highway 127. Attendance has steadily grown each year and most of our artists are repeaters. Entertainment has always and will continue to be a huge hit.
Third U.S. Artillery Civil War Living History encampment with live cannon; Bitter Creek Rangers from Crossville, TN with cowboy shootouts and music; Civil War Living History, Musical performances and bands; Childrens' train rides; log cabin period costume contest; antique tractor display, quilt display, blacksmith; story-telling; live demos by artists.Related Web Pages:
