Experience an event like no other! the DEERFIELD APPLE FESTIVAL is held on a 170 year old farm in southern Wisconsin, the BITTERSWEET BLESSINGS FARM. On the farm the buildings (including the historic 1901 barn) have been restored/updated to accommodate vendors and shoppers alike. All buildings have been planned out to create a complete walk-thru traffic pattern, thus promoting all shoppers to walk past all vendors. In addition to the inside vendor spaces, the outside vendors encircle the buildiings, fill the farmyard, and surround the food court and entertainment stage. There are only 55 inside spaces available and these rent out quickly, so if you're interested in an inside space please apply early. We host vendors from at least 6 different medias (crafts, fine arts, restored/upcycled, antiques, food, art, farmers market, flea market collectibles, etc.). Plus an everchanging assortment of vendors supplying our food court. Also, live entertainment throughout the day and many free activities for the children. Things like: Face painting, Caricatures, Balloons, Apple picking, Petting zoo, Tattoos, Magician, etc. (these may vary depending on season and availability). AUTUMN IS APPLE TIME!!! This event, although very much an arts/crafts/vendor market, is definitely themed around the APPLE. Having an heirloom orchard on the farm has prompted us to promote the wonders of the apple. There will be on-site apple cider production, the cooking of apple butter (both with free samples :) apple juice, apple pies, jams & jellies, apple sauces....'all things apple'. Plus, apple displays and sales from various orchards. DEERFIELD APPLE FIESTIVAL is held rain-or-shine. Please plan accordingly. SEE YOU AT THE FARM !!!! |
