Instant Stuffing Mix

3 tablespoons dried celery flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon sage

In a small plastic bag, combine celery flakes, onion, bouillon, poultry seasoning, and sage. Mix well. Make many of these at a time and store them in your cupboard so they are ready when you are.

To make your own bread cubes you will need:
15 slices bread
1/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove crusts from bread slices. Brush bread on both sides with melted butter. Cut bread slices up into small cubes. Arrange cubes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until browned. Let cool. Store bread cubes in a covered container or plastic bag. ** Season with garlic powder and use these as croutons for salads**

To prepare stuffing:
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons butter, and contents of seasoning packet to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat; add bread cubes and mix gently. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Toss with a fork before serving.
